Urban Magpie Condiments started from a desire not to waste the abundant fruit to be found on almost every property in Adelaide including the house we were renting. I would put notes in peoples mailboxes asking if I could pick the fruit if they were not going to use it and give them a couple of bottles of condiments in return. Of course I didn't hear from everyone but enough to keep me busy.

I started selling my products so I could afford to continue doing what I love. I believe everyone should be able to afford good *quality condiments* so getting fruit for free at times not only uses produce that would otherwise be wasted but also allows me to keep the overall costs down.
